When did you first take up Hockey? I think I was about 13

What positions have you played? I used to play on the wing believe it or not. Since then i’ve played def. mid and all across the back. Also when I was captain at uni and used to run around up front occasionally.

What are you reading at the moment? The questions

What is your favourite film? Probably, Gladiator, what a film.

Philosophy of life? I’m stealing an Alanis Morisette line but, “you live, you learn”

Best player you have played with or against? Cardiff Uni captain, he was a quality striker but possibly the biggest p***k I have ever met.

Top tip, for Hockey? Defend from the front.

What are you listening to, music wise at the moment? The Kings of Leon are playing at the moment.

Best advice given to you? Don’t watch ‘2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps’. It’s rubbish.

Who has been the biggest influence on your Hockey? The late Mr Davis. He was a legend at Pensby.

What next for NSWHC? Hopefully we’ll win stuff

Who would you have on your side, who is a present member of NSWHC in a full kicking scrapping fight and why? Robbo, he’s a bit of a psycho when he’s drunk, plus who could fight a man with a laugh like that.

Where do you Splash the Cash? Unfortunately, sad as I am, I seem to spend most of my money drinking at the Glegg, where I work.

What was the best day of your life? Leading my uni team to win the South Wales Div 3.

Favourite Food: Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding

Your ideal weekend? Not working to start with. Friday night in the pub, few beers, cheeseburger. Saturday we would play hockey and win, drinks at the club before a booze filled night on the town. Sunday stay in bed until roast dinner is ready.
