Undoubtedly spurred on by the thought of their shiny new changing
rooms, the ladies' first team looked sharp, confident and committed throughout their 4-1 win over Deeside Ramblers
2s.
Four players shared the goalscoring honours in what was a genuine team effort, with good performances
throughout the side.
Following a series of fast, accurate attacking play, new striker Louise Swift found the
net, then Katie Hetherington scored another well-made goal. A botched short corner made good by Sue Mills and Ally
Byrne's first 1st team goal for eight years finished the game off.
Skipper Cat Peers said "I was so proud
of our attitude today. We showed that we're a good team, a hard team to beat, and we deserve our place in Division One.
"We're
league leaders now so there's a standard to maintain!"
