Sue is the ex-1st Team Captain from last year, still playing in the 1st Team, and has been for the past 15 years.
She is married to Andrew and they have two wonderful young children Oliver and Annabel and two Lovely Labs, they all keep
Sue fit who runs around after them! She is a PE Teacher at Birkenhead Junior School for Boys.

Sue Happy New Year, when did you start playing Hockey?
Happy New Year to you and all who are on the New Website nswhc.co.uk. I first started playing
Hockey when I was 11 in 1977! Yes you can work out my age from that!
Who did you play for?
Loughborough High School then Wellingborough Ladies when I was 16.
What Position?
Left Wing and I have moved backwards since then!
What book are you reading at the moment?
Anita Shreve " Fall in the snow"
What is your favourite film?
The Killing Fields......or maybe The Railway Children!
What position do you play at the moment?
Central Defence, anywhere at the back!
Who is the best player you have played with or against?
Jane Sixsmith in a six a side Competition at Luton.
Top Tip in Hockey?
Listen to your Coach........then ignore it on the Pitch......no only joking! Enjoy it.
When your playing Hockey what is your husband Andrew doing?
He is watching Rugby at Wirral with our son Oliver (11) and sometimes Annabel (8).
What other sports played?
Just stopped Squash, but I Sail and Ski. Trying not to keep my Osteopath too busy!
What Music do you like?
Anything from Gilbert and Sullivan to The Scissor Sisters!
