Badgers 5-5 Northop Hall
The match started, It was even stevens with Northop Hall just edging on ball possession. Neston were fighting back though
and that's when they won their first short corner(one of many!). Unfortunately even though having many short corners we
couldn't find the goal. After this Northop Hall were on the offensive again pushing down their right wing , and into our
defence. The defence were holding it back but with key defenders and our regular goal keeper missing Northop got their first
goal. After this it was again very even and while Neston got a goal Northop equalised shortly afterwords. When half time finally
arrived Northop were leading 4-2. With a hair dryer team talk Pete got the team motivated again and Neston were ready to rumble!
It was nail biting stuff until Alex Lacey managed to get in the equaliser in the last minute. All in all a great match with
two new comers in the team, thanks to all the supporters for your support.

We had a game of two halves, when we played as individuals in the first half and as ateam in the second half. Really
pleased with James McClaren in the middle of the park for his work rate. Quite a few played out of position for experience
and they did well especially Greg Hughes. Learn from this team play in the second half.

Good game with our boys getting the better of the play in the first half, but they got the first goal, a sloppy one.
But James Fennah got a great goal to equalise. They defended well and broke away for another towards the end.
Tom Beaumont did well in midfield and Max Dutton defended well. But Callum Boothroyd takes Man of the match for brave
defending, Keep up the effort.

Fantastic game of hockey by the Badgers, to get a draw from this game, We welcomed Chris Hall, Jonny Crick and
Richard Fennah and these three made the rest of the team perform to the level they could every week. Two great goals
from Chris Hall and Charlie Palin, but the team played so well together and if we can play like that next year, then
we can compete with any of them.
